London2012 Paralympics gold medal hopeful Bethy Woodward was a guest presenter at The 2011 British Travel Awards, which took place last night (November 2) in London.
Bethy was representing one of her sponsors, the Association of Women Travel Executives UK (AWTE) which provides business and personal development opportunities for women in the travel industry through Director Development Seminars, hosted events and networking.
[one_half]The glittering event at Battersea Evolution in BatterseaPark was packed with around 1,000 of the UK’s travel industry executives for what is the largest independent awards competition in the UK.
The event, hosted by broadcaster Gyles Brandreth, celebrated a line up of winning travel companies as voted for by the British public.
BTA sponsor Lloyds TSB arranged for the Olympic Torch to take pride of place at the venue and, as well as Bethy, the event was attended by Gold winning heptathlete Denise Lewis and Paralympian tennis athlete, Liam O’Reilly.
