Bethany enthralled hundreds of people who attended the Salesforce World Tour London event at the Excel Centre in May.
With Salesforce keen to emphasise that careers in IT and providing related solutions are not the preserve of men, Bethany was invited as a motivational speaker, to talk about how nobody should be prevented from doing what they love.
During the event, she addressed audiences of more than 500 people at a time, who were attending the event for Salesforce partners from across the world.
Other speakers in the line-up included Michael Ibbotson, chief information officer at Gatwick Airport, while the key note address was delivered by Keith Block, vice-chairman and president of Salesforce, which is the world’s leading Customer Relationship Management software and enterprise cloud ecosystem. https://www.salesforce.com/uk/crm/what-is-salesforce/

She won silver in the 200 metres T37 category at the London Paralympics in 2012 and then a silver at the IPC World Championships.
This year, she is aiming for success at the IPC World Championships in Doha, in October, competing over 400 metres.

She also takes time, as patron, to support Breathe Magic, a project run by the charity Breathe Arts Health Research and often mentions this work in her public speaking.
Working with the Magic Circle, the project uses magic as a way of motivating people with hemiplegia to carry out their physical exercises which will help them have a more fulfilling life.
